The first activity of the Eagle Alliance Action Center of Nevada (EAAC-NV) was a speech/reception/book signing event at the Atomic Testing Museum on Dec. 13, 2004, with Sen. Domenici (seated with Pete Lyons, currently a NRC Commissioner). It was initiated with a donation from the Eagle Alliance. The event was organized in conjunction with the Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation (NTSHF) and the Las Vegas Valley Chapter of the Women in Nuclear.

Our second event was Susan Eisenhower’s visit to UNLV, the Yucca Mountain Project, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and the Atomic Testing Museum. Susan met with Paul Newman and Alvin Trivelpiece at the Speedway; Newman subsequently hosted a dinner-discussions called Eisenhower Forums on Nuclear Energy.
